2018 European AEC Reliability Workshop: The First European Automotive Electronics Reliability Workshop will be held October 16 & 17, 2018 at the Sheraton Munich Westpark Hotel located in Munich, Germany.

Workshop Registration Fee:

Registration fee for the European AEC Reliability Workshop is 174 Euros (and includes lunch for both days of the Workshop). The fee is to be paid by credit card during registration on-site the day of arrival. Travel and lodging fees are the responsibility of the participant.

Hotel Reservations:

A limited number of hotel rooms is available at the Sheraton Munich Westpark Hotel at the rate of 155 Euros per person per night (breakfast included). Reservations can be made directly with the hotel. More information can be found in the Workshop Call for Presentations . Please make your reservation as early as possible and state that you are attending the 2018 European AEC Reliability Workshop to take advantage of the special room rate. In the event that the Sheraton Munich Westpark Hotel sells out the room block, there are a number of alternate hotels in the neighborhood.


2018 AEC Annual Reliability Workshop: The 20th Automotive Electronics Council was held April 24-25, 2018 at the Sheraton Detroit Novi Hotel located in Novi, Michigan, USA. Over 230 people representing 121 global automotive electronics user and supplier communities attended the AEC workshop. A large cross-section of the user and supplier community made 20 presentations on methodologies for improving the quality & reliability of Integrated Circuits, Discrete Semiconductors, and Passive Components. The 2018 Workshop also included seven Open Forum Panel Discussions where industry experts reviewed the current status and future direction of AEC Technical Committee activities, providing attendees an opportunity to share their experiences and expertise. Open Forum topics included LED Qualification, Microphone MEMS Qualification, and a revision status overview of the AEC Q-Specifications. The goal of the Automotive Electronics Council is the development of uniform automotive industry specifications and requirements to improve automotive product quality and reliability while reducing cost and time to market. The purpose of the workshop is to continuously improve communications between automotive electronic component users and their supplier base.
